The first variety we sell, ready to harvest in mid-July. This has been the earliest and most planted variety in Lærdal the last couple of years.

A good variety with long traditions in Norway. Originally an Italian variety with firm, medium-sized fruits and a sweet and good taste. This is a good cherry, which can have a very long season. Ripe in mid-July.

Lapins is a cross between Van and Stella that came in the beginning of the seventies. The fruits are medium sized and has a lot of flesh. They have a nice and sweet taste, but crack easily in the rain. The variety is good for canning and baking. Ripe in mid-August.

A little late, relatively dark fruits. Ripens during the first half of August.

Relatively early variety, ripens during the latter half of July.

Sweetheart is a variety that was developed in Canada in the mid-seventies. The fruits are medium sized and sweet with a slightly bitter undertone. They crack easily in the rain. Ripens during the last half of August.

 Sweetheart  

Large fruits with a very good, sweet cherry flavor and appealing appearance. This is a Czech development of the Van variety that saw the light of day at the beginning of the 90's.

The fruits are medium sized but with a lot of flesh and a very sweet and good taste. The fruit is hard and crispy and has a very attractive appearance. Ripens during the last half of July.

This variety can get very dark and sweet if it hangs long enough on the tree. Ripens during the latter half of July.
